King County’s local behavioral health sales tax provides about $80 million each year to be invested in mental health and substance use programming. That funding provides a significant opportunity to make a difference and we want to align our investments with community priorities.

How can these local funds better serve you? We want to hear from you!

You are invited to join a listening session to share your input. Listening sessions begin next week, Monday, July 22nd, and will continue through August and beyond. We will be hosting 20 virtual listening sessions. Sign up here!

We value a diversity of experiences and are seeking input from:

  • Behavioral Health providers
  • Community Organizations
  • Rural residents
  • Peers and people with lived experience
  • General public

If you have any questions, please email Natalia C. Chacon at nchacon@kingcounty.gov.
