King County’s Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is excited to announce that the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Regional Family Youth System Partner Round Table (FYSPRT) King County Community Collaborative (KC3) facilitation and coordination services in King County is now open! 

This RFP will fund a convener/lead organization to assist with facilitation, coordination, and evaluation of FYSPRT in King County, referred to as the King County Community Collaborative (KC3). FYSPRT is a statewide program that brings together families, youth, and system partners to discuss the quality of local mental health services and participate in solving identified challenges to improve the system.  

We are seeking qualified organizations with a strong commitment to equity, youth and family partnership, and culturally responsive practices to help support and strengthen community-based efforts. Up to $63,000 in Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) funds from the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) is available for 2026. 

The RFP applications are due by Monday, August 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM (PST).

Who should apply? 

This request is open to nonprofit organizations, Community-Based Organizations, tribes and tribal organizations and public or governmental agencies serving communities in King County. Small nonprofits and community-based organizations are encouraged to submit a Proposal. Organizations may partner to submit one application as a partnership, but one organization must be designated as the lead for the application. See the full RFP for other minimum qualifications. 

RFP Timeline 

RFP released: July 21, 2025 

Proposal due: August 11, by 2:00 p.m.  

Responses reviewed: Week of August 12  

Interviews with applicants: Week of August 18  

Notification of selected and non-selected applicants: August 25  

Anticipated contract start date: September 1, 2025
