The Department of Community and Human Services’s Adult Services Division is pleased to announce the release of a new ​VSHSL Request for Proposal (RFP) for ​Technical Assistance & Capacity Building (TACB): Support for Regional Human Services Coalitions.  Proposals for this funding opportunity are due on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 by 2:00 pm Pacific Time. 

Interested applicants are invited to join an informational session on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 3:00pm to 4:30pm Pacific Time to learn more about eligibility and the application process. Join via Zoom and register in advance!

The information session will be recorded and posted here. This will be a remote session with speech to text captioning provided. For accommodations to participate, please contact the Procurement Lead (Esther Lee, eslee@kingcounty.gov) by ​September 15, 2025​.  

About the RFP 

The TACB: Support for Regional Human Services Coalitions RFP is a new VSHSL investment that aims to support regional human services coalitions to disseminate information on grant opportunities to partner organizations, identify and connect partner organizations with capacity building and technical assistance, and build a conduit between the county and partner organizations to facilitate feedback and other opportunities to improve system delivery and efficacy.

  • Available funding: $855,563 in Veterans, Seniors, Human Services Levy funds 
  • Investment period: December 1, 2025 – December 31, 2027 ​​  
  • Applications due: ​​Submit by 2:00pm Pacific Time on October 8, 2025
