Community and School Resources in King County

During these changing times and with school closures, some of our community members in King County have reached out to find out where to locate resources such as food, utility assistance, health care/ health plans, and learning/ educational sources.

LaTonya Rogers who is with the Department of Community and Human Services Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) Youth, Family and Prevention Section raised the idea that we should compile a resource list to share with our providers and community members.

Please see the attached list, Summary of Community and School Resources in King County, developed by BHRD staff, in particular, James Cooper-Nurse, LaTonya Rogers, Lisa Floyd and Jackie Berganio. The list is organized by community organizations/ groups and by school districts.

PLEASE NOTE: This list was developed by King County to assist individuals and families as a public service; however, it is not comprehensive and being included on this list does not imply endorsement. Information on this list is also subject to change so please do check with the organizations/ groups/ school districts.
