Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 2:30 – 4:30pm on Zoom. More details below.
Requested Participants: Executive Directors or other representatives of currently contracted Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) organizations who can speak to the workforce needs of these organizations.
You are invited to a Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) virtual Community Planning Session (CPS) to provide feedback on an upcoming request for proposals: Human Services Workforce Stabilization. This strategy aims to improve staff recruitment and retention within nonprofit organizations providing human services in King County. Funds will be directed to currently awarded or contracted DCHS funded human services organizations. This CPS will inform the details of the eligibility requirements and allowable activities for those funds.
Organizations that receive and accept an award resulting from the VSHSL FS 6 RFA that closed on July 18, 2025, are not eligible to apply for the FS 6 RFP for DCHS Providers. Award notifications for the closed FS 6 RFA are anticipated on or before the first week of September 2025.
