The King County Adult Services Division is planning the fourth annual Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) Summit! This year’s summit will be two days designed to connect, empower and inspire human services professionals in King County. We’re inviting VSHSL providers to submit proposals to present at Day One of the summit.
Interested in presenting at the 2025 VSHSL Summit?
Presenters will lead 60-minute sessions that inspire and energize attendees. The sessions should showcase their organization’s work while strengthening community and collaboration
We’re seeking presentations that align with these goals:
- Share innovative approaches to disrupting disparities: Encourage the sharing of new approaches to improve outcomes in healthy living, housing stability, social engagement, financial stability, and access.
- Create a sense of community and opportunities to network: Encourage meaningful relationships and a feeling of belonging among VSHSL providers and partners.
- Celebrate successful VSHSL-funded approaches: Highlight achievements made possible through VSHSL support.
- Promote evidence-based community-led solutions: Show how your work is shaped by the voices and needs of the community, especially in addressing inequities

- Submission process opens: Monday, August 25, 2025
- Submission process closes: Monday, September 15, 2025, at 5 PM PT
- Notification of accepted proposals: Friday, October 3, 2025
- Final presentations submitted to King County: Friday, October 17, 2025
