King County’s Annual Developmental Disabilities and Delays Legislative Forum, hosted by King County DCHS’s Developmental Disabilities and Early Childhood Supports Division (DDECSD) is marking its 36th year!    

Join us on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the Hilton DoubleTree Suites, 16500 Southcenter Parkway and hear from individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and delays and their family members, learn about the 2026 legislative priorities, and connect with legislators and other elected officials. 

Your presence is important! Registration is not required, but it does help us with planning.

Agenda 

  • 6:00 – 7:00 PM: Doors open. Refreshments available. 
  • 6:15 – 6:45 PM: Option to informally connect with state legislators at tables organized by legislative district.
  • 7:00 – 8:30 PM: Legislative Forum  
    • Opening remarks by Teddy Kemirembe, Community Engagement Advisor for the Developmental Disabilities Community Services at the WA State Department
      of Social and Health Services; Co-Chair of the Washington Immigration Network; and proud mother
