Over the past year, your organization may have noticed new contracting changes and requirements, including requests for additional documentation. That’s because King County DCHS is strengthening internal controls following an audit that identified the need for stronger oversight of public funds. These improvements are intended to help ensure public dollars deliver the greatest benefit to communities, confirm that contractors are meeting financial management requirements, and support community partners in successfully managing and using public funding.
