New RFP for Human Services Workforce Stabilization – Apply by February 19! 

The King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is pleased to announce the release of a new Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) Request for Proposal (RFP) for FS 6: DCHS-Wide Human Services Workforce Stabilization. This funding opportunity was released on December 18, 2025, and applications are due by 2 pm PT, Wednesday, February 19, 2026.

Interested applicants are invited to attend one of two informational sessions to learn more about eligibility requirements, allowable uses of funds, and the application process. Both sessions will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams.

About the RFP 

The FS 6: Human Services Workforce Stabilization RFP seeks to allocate VSHSL funds to improve staff recruitment and retention within organizations that have active DCHS awards and provide human services in King County

Funds may be used to support staff across an organization who work in King County through related expenses including, but not limited to: 

This procurement is open to organizations with current DCHS awards that extend to at least December 31, 2026. Full eligibility requirements are detailed in the RFP.
