Starting Sunday night, severe weather is forecasted in the Seattle and King County region. In response to potential snow and below freezing temperatures 50 additional winter shelter beds will be available starting Sunday night through Wednesday in the King County Administration Building.
50 additional winter shelter beds
In addition to the 50 beds available every night in the King County Administration Building, 50 additional beds will be available from Sunday (1/12) to Wednesday (1/15) for people who identify as men, age 18 and older. The shelter is an emergency, mat on floor shelter operated by Salvation Army staff. People may go directly to the shelter, referral forms are not required

The shelter is open Sunday 1/12 to Wednesday 1/15 from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Jefferson Day Center
Located at 4th and Jefferson streets, the Jefferson Day Center is open daily from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The day center provides a warm place for people exiting Pioneer Square shelters, onsite case management and health services, shower and laundry facilities, and connections to community services and housing navigation.
The 4th and Jefferson building also serves as an overnight shelter with 50 beds available daily, open from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
